Community Education is Community Building
One of PCM's primary roles is to offer low-cost, high-quality, specialized media training using existing and emerging technologies. We work with all aspects of the public; youth, adults, non-profits and community-based organizations.
In our classes and workshops, students learn lighting, audio, HD, cameras, script-writing and Final Cut Pro editing software. Students create videos, get studio training, field production experience, and learn pre/post production.
What's your reason?
Students come for many reasons; personal growth, self-expression, having their voice heard and creating content for social change, to name a few. We love learning from our students.

At PCM you can create what you want whether big or small. A story about your best friend, a day at the dog park, music videos, documentary, a TV show, series, experimental art piece, entertainment or short pieces. What do you want to create?
Near and Far
We can help you post your videos on social media outlets like YouTube and Blip. Air your show on our local cable channels (11, 22 and 23) or partner with community media centers in other cities
Get Certified & Checkout Equipment
Some of PCM workshops grant a "certification" once completed. These certifications allow participants to checkout PCM equipment to create programming. The certifications will be listed on the workshops page.
